You read that right! Just two days before the start of Alaska Folk Fest 49, Douglas Island’s ‘Low Carbon Truegrass’ musical masters Tramwreck will be getting you ready! This April 6, 8pm Folk Fest warmup at Louie’s in downtown Douglas is both a festival mood maker AND a FUNraiser! Don’t miss this once in a Folk Fest opportunity to catch the tunes of Tramwreck and support the carbon-cutting crew of the Alaska Carbon Reduction Fund!
Saturday, April 6, 8pm, Louie’s, Douglas, AK
Get there early!
This will be a dancing room only event!
So, leave the petrol-thirsty car in the drive and pole, peddle, or paddle over to Louies’ this coming Saturday! Get down with Tramwreck’s acoustic masters as they unload their low-carbon, finger-picking positivity! Lube up with a HeatPumpTini, the fundraising cocktail of the eve, support the fund and toss some green in the jar, and help to save the world one heat pump at a time!

Did you know that Renewable Juneau’s Alaska Carbon Reduction Fund has now helped 46 lower income families slash their home heating bills? These families now save up to $1,500 every year and stay warm and cozy thanks to Juneau’s miraculous hydropower and the magic of heat pumps! This is local action at its best! Local assistance, local power, and now, supported by local truegrass musical legends.
And did you know that our 46th project was just completed last week? Another 400 annual gallons of heating oil NO LONGER NEEDED. Another family saving big and another heat pump making a local difference!
